Schmittenhöhe
Especially in winter, the local mountain Schmittenhöhe See shows itself from an extremely advantageous side – the snow-white one.
On 75 km of perfectly groomed pistes, “professionals” and amateur athletes can enjoy the white splendor every day.
Kitzsteinhorn
The nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier area guarantees skiing fun all year round at 3000 meters with a fun park for snowboarders and freestylers.

Well-trained ski instructors for skiers of all skill levels await you at the ski and snowboard school. Whether in a group or privately, you can learn and improve your technique here.

Enjoy a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through one of the various nature reserves in the region.
tobogganing
The illuminated toboggan run with a length of 1.5 km passes close to our house. At the start of the toboggan run you will find the rustic forest inn “Köhlergraben”, which also invites you to stay longer. The toboggan run is illuminated, so you can toboggan home carefree after dark.
cross country skiing
As far as the eye can see, the 40 km of cross-country skiing trails meander through Zell am See-Kaprun and the neighboring communities. On the Schmitten there is a wonderful high-altitude trail around the Plettsaukopf reservoir – with a view of the entire region!
